Maria House and Teresa Shelter continually seek in-kind product donations to help keep our operating costs low, but ask that you understand we accept donations only on an as-needed basis. Both programs are bursting at the seams, and we are unable to store donated items that cannot be immediately used. Due to insufficient storage and sorting capacity, Maria House and Teresa Shelter can accept only donations for items listed on our Wish List. Donations of furniture or other large items can be accepted only if we are aware of a client in need at the time of the donation, and if storage of such items is not required. All donations must be in excellent condition and not require any repairs. Gifts of materials, equipment, etc. must be approved IN ADVANCE. Delivery should not be scheduled or accepted without preapproval. If we are unable to accept your donation, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and can suggest other worthy organizations in our area. To arrange delivery or to clarify our needs or in-kind donation policy, please contact the Development and Marketing Director at (563) 582-7480.
